Moissanite

What is Moissanite?
A gift from the galaxy, Moissanite was first found in meteorites and is now ethically created. Durable, easy to care for, and more brilliant than diamonds, it’s perfect for daily wear.
Moissanite vs. Similar Stones
Moissanite
Discovered in meteorite craters, natural Moissanite is extremely rare, so TAKE-UP uses lab-created moissanite with the same composition.
Cubic Zirconia (CZ)
Synthetic stone made from a material not found in nature.
Natural Diamond
Mineral composed of carbon, formed naturally over long periods.
Synthetic Diamond
Synthetic stone chemically identical to natural diamond, also called lab-grown diamond.
*Moissanite, cubic zirconia, and diamonds are made of different materials, with varying hardness and brilliance.
Features of Moissanite
Dazzling Brilliance
It is said to have 2.5 times the brilliance of a diamond. Like diamonds, it maintains its sparkle even in dimly lit environments. With both its refractive index and dispersion rate higher than those of diamonds, which are known for their intense brilliance among natural stones, it exhibits the spectacular "fire" that displays the seven colors of the spectrum.
Long-lasting Sparkle
Resistant to oils like skin and hand cream, keeping its sparkle for everyday wear.
Durable
Hard and durable, resistant to chips and breaks.
Consistent Quality
As a lab-grown stone, Moissanite has minimal inclusions and consistent quality—equivalent to VVS1/D (Colorless)/Excellent diamonds, with “Hearts & Arrows” symmetry.
Ethical & Sustainable
No mining is required, avoiding conflict and child labor. Eco-friendly and sustainable, it protects the Earth’s resources. Uses only ~0.5% of the energy of natural diamonds and ~1% of lab-grown diamonds.
